The statement, released on Sunday (October 11), said the airport was targeted in an attack on Saturday (October 10). Of the 12 people killed, four were Saudi citizens. The remaining eight were citizens of other countries.
Among the foreign nationals killed were two Bangladeshis and one citizen each from the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Palestine and Sudan.
