Kuwait's army has reported repelling drones and missiles launched from Iran.
The Kuwaiti army's General Staff office announced that on Wednesday morning, the country's air defense systems were actively engaging hostile aerial targets.
In a post on social media platform X, the Kuwaiti army urged local residents to follow safety and security instructions issued by the relevant authorities. It also called on the public to gather information about the conflict only from authorized official sources.
Earlier, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed to have launched retaliatory strikes on two US military bases in Jordan and Bahrain in response to US air strikes.
In two separate statements, the IRGC said it had targeted a US air base in Jordan with long-range missiles and struck the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain with drone attacks. (Source Al Jazeera)
