Gold prices
have decreased by Tk 3,324 and the price of 22-carat gold is Tk 2,20,858 per
bhori (11.664 grams).
Bangladesh
Jewellers Association (BAJUS) announced the new price through a press release
on Friday.
The price of
21-carat gold is Tk 2,10,943 per bhori, 18-carat gold at Tk 1,81,200, and
traditional method gold at Tk 1,48,016.
BAJUS said
the adjustment was made in line with overall market conditions following a fall
in the local price of tejabi gold, or pure gold.
