Bangladesh has contributed little to climate change but
faces some of the highest risks. Against this reality, Prime Minister Tarique
Rahman has called on the international community to take urgent action. He said
that to keep global warming within 1.5 degrees Celsius, emissions must be
reduced while ensuring accessible financing, technology transfer and full
implementation of the Loss and Damage Fund for climate vulnerable countries.
