Chief Whip and
BNP Vice Chairman Nurul Islam Moni said BNP has not yet officially finalized
its candidate for the 23rd presidential election.
He made these
remarks in a press conference at the National Parliament House on Tuesday.
Moni added that
BNP standing committee has delegated the responsibility of choosing the presidential
candidate to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, who will make the final decision
regarding the nomination.
