A fire that broke
out in a building at Karwan Bazar, Dhaka has been brought under control.
The incident
occurred around 7:30 am on Tuesday at the EDB Trade Center building located on Kazi
Nazrul Islam Avenue.
According to the
Tejgaon Fire Service, the fire originated in a kitchen on the ninth floor of
the 15-story building. A private old age home is located on that same floor.
Fire Service said
everyone inside the building was safely evacuated immediately after the fire
broke out.
