Abdus Salam Malitha (48), a farmer in Alamdanga,
Chuadanga, had hired a tractor to plow land for Tk 150. A dispute arose between
him and the person owed the money. During an argument, the creditor struck the
farmer on the head. Salam was seriously injured and taken to a hospital. He
died on Saturday while undergoing treatment.
Family members said Salam was struck on the head on the evening of October
