Habiganj-attack

The National Citizens Party has announced a protest program against attacks in Habiganj and Sylhet. The information was announced in a notice on Thursday night. The notice said a torchlight procession will be held in protest of attacks by BNP leaders and activists on NCP leaders in Habiganj and Sylhet. The procession will begin from Bangla Motor at 9:30 pm tonight.

Leaders and activists of the National Citizen Party (NCP) are holding a protest march at Banglamotor in the capital in protest against the attack on the party’s leaders and activists, including Nasiruddin Patwary  and Sarjis Alam, in Habiganj. The protest march began around 5:30 pm Wednesday after party leaders and activists gathered in front of the NCP’s central office. Earlier, on Tuesday evening, NCP leaders came under attack in Habiganj.
