A seventh-grade student named Samia Noor (15), died after
falling from the eighth floor of PG Hospital in Shahbagh in the capital. The
incident occurred at around 2:30 pm on Saturday.
Samia was the adopted daughter of Nurunnabi and Parul Akter
from Kalmeshwar village in Gazipur Sadar upazila. She was adopted when she was
two or three years old. She knew Nurunnabi and Parul as her biological parents.
