Police detain 4 banned Chhatra League leaders at DU
Police detained four leaders of the banned Chhatra League on Thursday at a hunger strike by candidates excluded from the 45th BCS gazette at University of Dhaka (DU). Shahbagh Police Station detained them in the presence of the DU Proctorial Team. Witnesses and police officials said those deprived of the gazette began their hunger strike on the afternoon. Police conducted a raid based on information that leaders and activists of the banned Chhatra League were among the hunger strikers....
