BNP Chairman
and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman honored his father, party founder former president
Ziaur Rahman, and his mother, former BNP chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda
Zia to mark the party’s 48th founding anniversary.
He reached
his parents’ graves in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar at 9:17 am on Tuesday and laid
wreaths alongside members of the party’s Standing Committee and other senior
political leaders.
