Testimony against former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed in a case filed over the acquisition of more than Tk 110 million in illegal assets has been deferred. The court has set October 11 for the next hearing. Judge Abdullah Al Mamun of Dhaka Special Judge Court 5 set the new date on Thursday as no witness appeared.
