The Bangladesh Coast Guard has recovered a large cache of
weapons, ammunition and firearm-making equipment during an operation in the
remote hills of Hwanak in Maheshkhali upazila of Cox’s Bazar. During the
operation, Imam Hossain Mintu (38), the alleged chief of the so-called ‘Mintu
Bahini,’ was arrested.
