Banned Chhatra League leader arrested after arms cache found
Police arrested a leader of the banned Chhatra League after the recovery of a large quantity of cocktails, torches, sticks, and kerosene from the Ansar Camp area of Paikpara, adjacent to Mirpur-1 in Dhaka. Mirpur Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Imran Hossain confirmed the matter. The arrestee has been identified as Al Mahmud Tarek, 42, former central organizational secretary of Chhatra League and former general secretary of Dhaka College Chhatra League. Police said leaders...
