Bangladesh Batters Dominate Opening Day

The opening day of the Dhaka Test belonged to Bangladesh’s batters. Najmul Hossain Shanto scored a century, while Mominul Haque missed out by just nine runs. Mushfiqur Rahim remained two runs short of a half-century.
At the end of day one, Bangladesh posted 301 for 4 in 85 overs. Mushfiqur finished unbeaten on 48, with Liton Das on 8 as play ended for the day.
