Bangladesh batted for just under two hours on the morning of the second day. The resistance did not last as long on a sunny second morning as the time lost to poor light on the opening day. Bangladesh were bowled out for 272 in their first innings after losing seven wickets for 59 runs, just three minutes before the lunch break.
West Indies left arm spinner Jomel Warrican took five wickets, while Joshua Bishop and Shamar Joseph claimed two wickets each.
At one end, Litton Das remained unbeaten on 34 as he watched a procession of batters come and go at the other end. The collapse began at the start of the day with the dismissal of Shadman Islam. However, Towhid Hridoy suffered the most embarrassing dismissal. The procession continued after that, with Bangladesh losing their last four wickets for just 19 runs.
