How to buy tickets for the SAFF Championship

The latest edition of the SAFF Championship will begin in Dhaka in about a week. Ticket sales for the tournament will start today. Football fans will be able to purchase tickets through the online platform Tickify from 8 pm.

Ticket prices have been set at Tk 1,000 to Tk 10,000. The SAFF Championship will begin at the National Stadium in Dhaka on November 5 and continue until November 17. Two matches will be played each day during the group stage. Spectators will be able to watch both matches on the same day with a single ticket.

To buy tickets, spectators must visit the SAFF Championship event page on Tickify’s website. They must select their preferred match date and gallery category to complete the purchase.

The platform has advised spectators not to share their ticket QR codes with anyone else. Only the first person to enter the stadium using a particular QR code will be allowed entry.

Tickify was also responsible for selling tickets for last year’s Bangladesh vs Singapore match. When ticket sales began that time, technical problems affected the website. Many spectators were unable to access it. Some also complained that they did not receive their tickets despite making payments. The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Tickify had attributed the problems to a cyberattack.

Sajib, an official of TSA, which purchased the marketing rights for this year’s SAFF Championship, expressed confidence in Tickify.

“Tickify’s profile is quite good now. The Honorable Prime Minister has recently placed her trust in Tickify as a startup company. We selected Tickify after considering all these factors,” he said.
