Prime Minister Congratulates Tigers

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman congratulated the Bangladesh cricket team after they secured their first-ever Test victory against Pakistan on home soil.

The Tigers earned a 104-run win in the first Test of the two-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday in Dhaka.

Previously, Bangladesh had won their last two Tests against Pakistan on their home turf. This time, they achieved the victory in front of home supporters.

The win also marked Bangladesh’s third consecutive Test victory against the side. Bangladesh set a target of 268 runs in the Mirpur Test, while Pakistan collapsed for 163 in reply.
