Saudi Arabia introduces one-year multiple-entry umrah visa

The Ministry of Haj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has introduced a new multiple-entry Umrah visa. With the launch of this visa, pilgrims can travel to Saudi Arabia multiple times within a year to perform Umrah. However, they can stay in the country for a maximum of 90 days per visit.
The country's Ministry of Haj and Umrah announced this information on Monday.
The new visa will remain valid for 365 days from the date of issuance. Subject to fulfilling the designated conditions, visa holders will be permitted multiple entries into Saudi Arabia.
The ministry stated that this initiative has been taken as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program. It aims to ease the travel of Umrah pilgrims, improve the quality of services, and enrich the overall experience of the pilgrims.
However, before performing Umrah each time, visa holders must purchase a service package from an authorized service provider through the Nusuk platform. The duration of the package cannot exceed the remaining validity of the visa. Additionally, an Umrah permit must be obtained via the Nusuk app before traveling to Saudi Arabia.
The ministry further noted that the visa will be temporarily deactivated after departing Saudi Arabia each time and will be reactivated once the conditions for the next visit are met.
Please note that this visa will not be functional during the Hajj season, specifically from the 1st of Dhu al-Qadah to the 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah.
