Attempts to attack holy Mecca and Madinah will be jointly resisted: Religious Affairs Minister

Minister of Religious Affairs Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain (Kaikoobad) has said that if any threat or attempt to attack the security of holy Makkah and Madinah occurs, Muslims worldwide will build a united resistance.
This information was conveyed in a statement issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs on Saturday.
In the statement, the minister also emphasized that if necessary, millions of Muslims will protect the sanctity of the holy land at the cost of their lives.
In his statement sent to the media, the Religious Affairs Minister said that Mecca al-Mukarramah and Madinah al-Munawwarah are the most revered places for Muslims globally. These two holy cities serve as the epicenter of emotion and love for the entire Muslim Ummah.
"Any attack, aggression, or threat to security there will not be tolerated under any circumstances," the minister clearly signaled.
Expressing full support for the statements of the two Imams of the Holy Haramain, the minister remarked that protecting the security of the two holy cities is a religious duty for every Muslim in the world. The people of Bangladesh remain uncompromising on this issue.
In his statement, the minister called upon all Muslim nations and the global Ummah to set aside differences and unite. Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain added that any conspiracy against the holy land, now or in the future, will be collectively thwarted.
