Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has said, "The advent of the Great Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is a unique and glorious event in the history of human civilization. His arrival opened a new horizon of truth and light for humanity. Along with calling people to Tawhid (monotheism), he taught truth, justice, equality, brotherhood, humanity, and peace. His sacred life and teachings remain an eternal guide and exemplary ideal for all mankind."
He made these remarks in a message issued today (Tuesday) on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), which will be observed tomorrow (Wednesday).
Extending heartfelt congratulations and greetings to all devout Muslims across the country and the entire Muslim Ummah around the world on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH), the Prime Minister said, "The Great Prophet (PBUH) emphasized establishing human dignity and rights by transcending divisions of race, colour, tribe, language, and social status. He taught us to be responsible and compassionate towards orphans, the poor, the helpless, and the deprived. He placed special importance on protecting the rights of family, neighbours, women, children, and the weak and marginalized sections of society. His teachings do not foster division among people; rather, they strengthen the bonds of brotherhood, harmony, and mutual responsibility."
Noting that the present world is passing through various crises and challenges, the head of government said, "War, conflict, violence, inequality, intolerance, and moral decay are disrupting people's peace, security, and normal lives. At such a time, the Great Prophet's (PBUH) teachings of peace, justice, compassion, forgiveness, and humanity are extremely relevant. By following his life ideals, it is possible to build a peaceful and welfare-oriented society by establishing justice, responsibility, and human values in personal, family, social, and state life."
Tarique Rahman said, "The teachings of the Great Prophet (PBUH) carry profound significance not only for the religious and spiritual lives of Muslims but also for the development of human and moral values. We must embody his ideals in our personal lives, family lives, and social conduct. By strengthening mutual respect, compassion, tolerance, and a sense of justice, we can build a peaceful, just, and humane Bangladesh."
