Sudanese Prime Minister Meets with Bangladesh President in London

Dr. Kamil Idris, the Prime Minister of Sudan, paid a courtesy call on the President of Bangladesh, Mohammed Shahabuddin, who is currently staying in the United Kingdom.
The meeting took place on Saturday morning in the lobby of the Hilton Hotel in London, according to a press release issued by the Bangabhaban.
The President's Private Secretary, Md. Didarul Alam, informed the Bangabhaban Press Wing that during the informal meeting, the Sudanese Prime Minister inquired about the President's health and wished him a speedy recovery.
He added that during this brief interaction, Dr. Kamil Idris prayed for the overall well-being of the people of Bangladesh and for the good health of the President.
President Shahabuddin recalled the long-standing friendly relations between Bangladesh and Sudan and wished for the peace, welfare, and prosperity of the Sudanese people.
During the meeting, the Sudanese Prime Minister commended the President for his patient and prudent leadership during Bangladesh's recent challenging times.
He also expressed his gratitude for the significant contribution of the Bangladeshi peacekeeping forces in his country and wished for the continued progress and prosperity of Bangladesh.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin thanked the Sudanese Prime Minister for his well wishes. He expressed hope that the existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Sudan would be further strengthened in the future.
