New Divisional Commissioner for Dhaka, New DCs for Sylhet and Cumilla

The Ministry of Public Administration has appointed Mohammad Moniruzzaman Mia, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, as the Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka. Simultaneously, new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) have been appointed for the districts of Sylhet and Cumilla.
This information was conveyed in separate notifications issued by the Ministry of Public Administration today (Sunday).
According to the notifications, Md. Reza Hasan, the current Deputy Commissioner of Cumilla, has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet. On the other hand, Rozy Akhter, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, has been given the responsibility of Deputy Commissioner of Cumilla.
Earlier, on June 21, Sylhet's Deputy Commissioner Sarwar Alam was withdrawn through a notification from the Ministry of Public Administration. The position had remained vacant since then.
