Ink Factory Glows in Fire at Demra

A massive fire erupted at a tin-shed ink manufacturing factory in the Amulia Model Town area of Demra, in the capital. The incident occurred at approximately 11:38 AM on Thursday (April 30).
Anwarul Islam, an official from the Fire Service Headquarters Media Cell, confirmed the situation. He stated that after receiving the report at 11:38 AM, two units from the Demra Fire Station arrived at the scene by 11:55 AM to begin firefighting operations.
To bolster the efforts, two additional units from the Siddikbazar Fire Station were later dispatched to the site. By early afternoon, the response grew further as two more units from Khilgaon joined the operation around 1:30 PM, bringing the total number of active units to six. Furthermore, two additional units from Siddikbazar are currently en route to the location.
The Fire Service has not yet been able to determine the primary cause of the fire or the extent of the damages. As of the latest information, firefighting personnel are continuing their strenuous efforts to bring the blaze under control.
