Reshuffle of 23 senior police officials

The government has transferred 23 senior police officials, including Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) and Additional DIGs, and assigned them to new posts.
Today (Wednesday), separate notifications were issued by the Police-1 Branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs through four separate orders regarding their transfers and postings.
Among the transferred officials, Farida Yasmin, Additional DIG of Dhaka Highway Police, has been attached as Additional DIG to the Barishal Range DIG office. Mir Moddassher Hossain, Additional DIG of Highway Police, has been posted as Additional DIG to the Sardah BPT (Bangladesh Police Training) in Rajshahi.
Mohammad Shahinur Alam Khan, Superintendent of Police (Supernumerary Additional DIG) of Highway Police, has been made Superintendent of Police (Supernumerary Additional DIG) of Dhaka SB (Special Branch). Md. Rezaul Karim, Superintendent of Police of Highway Police, has been transferred as Superintendent of Police of APBN (Armed Police Battalion), and Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Superintendent of Police of PBI (Police Bureau of Investigation), has been transferred as Superintendent of Police of Highway Police.
Additionally, Deepak Jyoti Khisa, Superintendent of Police of APBN, has been posted as Superintendent of Police of Highway Police, and Md. Saleh Uddin, Additional DIG of RAB (Rapid Action Battalion), has been posted as Additional DIG of Highway Police.
Meanwhile, in a separate notification, Mohammad Jasim Uddin, Superintendent of Police of Kushtia, has been made Superintendent of Police of Gazipur. The current Superintendent of Police of Gazipur, Md. Sharif Uddin, has been transferred to Highway Police.
