Dhaka may get rain, temperature may reach 35 degree celsius, real feel around 40 degrees

A trough currently extends from Gangetic West Bengal to the Northwest Bay of Bengal. The monsoon remains fairly active over Bangladesh, while over the North Bay it ranges from weak to moderate, said a BMD bulletin.
The city is hot with temperature roaming around 34 degree celsius. The highest temperature recorded on Friday (June 19) was 35.5°C in Khulna. Some weather website predicted that Dhaka's temperature could touch 35 degree on the barometer, today.
Day 1 Today (Commencing 9 AM, June 20, 2026):
Many areas across Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions can expect light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied by temporary gusty winds and lightning. A few places in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions may also see similar conditions. Moderately heavy to heavy downpours are likely at various spots across the country.
Daytime and nighttime temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged. In Dhaka, winds will blow from the south/southeast at 8–12 km/h, with humidity at 89% this morning. The sun will set at 6:49 PM today and rise at 5:12 AM tomorrow. According to BBC weather temperature of Dhaka was recorded 25 degree Celsius at 1:30Pm but the real feel was like 39 degree.
Day 2 (Commencing 9 AM, June 21, 2026):
Light to moderate rain with thundershowers, gusty winds, and lightning is likely across many parts of all eight divisions—Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet. Some areas may experience moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall. Daytime temperatures may drop slightly, while nights will remain mostly steady.
Day 3 (Commencing 9 AM, June 22, 2026):
Many places in Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions are likely to see light to moderate rain with gusty winds and lightning. A few spots in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barishal divisions may also receive showers. Moderately heavy to very heavy falls are possible in some areas. Both day and night temperatures are expected to stay about the same.
