Temperature in Dhaka may Drop

After several days of intense heat, residents of the capital Dhaka and surrounding areas have received some relief. The Meteorological Office has said that the daytime temperature may decrease slightly today.
In a weather forecast issued for six hours from 7:00 AM on Wednesday, it said that the sky over Dhaka may remain partly cloudy at times. There is also a possibility of rain or thundershowers.
Winds may blow from the south or southwest at a speed of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. The daytime temperature is expected to drop slightly.
At 6:00 AM today, the temperature in the capital was recorded at 29.2°C, with humidity at 86 percent. The maximum temperature yesterday was recorded at 36.7°C.
Earlier, in a forecast issued yesterday, the Meteorological Office said that a mild heatwave is currently sweeping over 40 districts, including Dhaka, and it may continue.
