‘Don’t worry about these things,’ Yash stands by Kiara over bold scenes

Even before its release, the much-anticipated pan Indian action thriller Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups, starring Kannada superstar Yash and Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, has made headlines.
Recently released teasers of the film and the song Taabahi have caused widespread buzz on social media over some intimate scenes featuring Yash and Kiara. Kiara has faced harsh criticism and trolling from a section of netizens over the scenes.
However, KGF star Yash has strongly stood by his costar during this difficult time. He advised Kiara not to pay any attention to the trolling.
The official trailer of Toxic was unveiled at a grand event in Bengaluru on Saturday. Yash spoke about the online trolling directed at Kiara.
Praising Kiara for her dedication to her work, Yash said, “As an actor, do not worry at all about the unpleasant situations you are having to face. Keep doing what you believe in. We may be a little ahead of our time, but the audience will certainly appreciate your hard work.”
Yash also said that although various kinds of complications can be expected while shooting with stars, Kiara was extremely humble. She devoted herself completely to the role of Nadia, a circus performer, in the film.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film was shot simultaneously in English and Kannada. It will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
Although the trailer keeps the main storyline of the film under wraps, it features a striking look of Yash. He will be seen in two different dual roles as a father and a son.
Besides Yash and Kiara, several prominent South Indian and Bollywood stars have played important roles in the film, including Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi.
