Emraan Hashmi gives major hint about ‘Awarapan 3’
After the cult classic film ‘Awarapan’ was released in 2007, its sequel ‘Awarapan 2’ has now arrived in theaters and created tremendous excitement at the box office.
As audiences and fans show intense interest in the new sequel, the film’s lead actor Emraan Hashmi has delivered good news for fans. The actor hinted that the third installment of the franchise, ‘Awarapan 3’, could arrive very soon.
Soon after the film’s release on Friday, Emraan Hashmi and his costar Disha Patani suddenly appeared at a movie theater in Mumbai to see the film’s strong response. They surprised fans by entering the theater during the interval.
Addressing the packed audience, Emraan Hashmi said, “Awarapan is a film that is more special to you than it is to us. It is because of that love that we have returned. This time, we tried to make the story with even more action and emotion. From Friday, the film is no longer in our hands. It has been completely handed over to you.”
When a fan from the audience shouted that the film was a “superhit,” Emraan replied with a smile, “Oh, the real game is still left! The second half is much better than the first half.”
During the conversation, Emraan dropped an even bigger hint, saying, “I hope the entire film wins your hearts. And if everything goes well, then I hope we will bring ‘Awarapan 3’ very soon!”
Directed by Nitin Kakkar and produced by Vishesh Films, ‘Awarapan 2’ once again features the character Shivam Pandit, with Emraan Hashmi delivering a powerful performance in the role.
After the bloody events of the first installment, Shivam had left everything behind and was living a peaceful life. However, when an Interpol officer seeks his help in a mission to rescue kidnapped children, he is forced to enter another dangerous battle.
Based on child trafficking, revenge and redemption, the action thriller features Disha Patani as Zara and legendary actress Shabana Azmi as the lady don Nafisa. The film has been highly successful in drawing audiences to theaters since its opening day.
