Nusraat Faria angered by producer’s media invite

Nusraat Faria

Actress Nusraat Faria has objected to giving interviews after journalists were invited to a shooting location. Producer Abdul Aziz had invited journalists to the shooting of a new movie in Diabari, Dhaka. However, Nusraat Faria was unaware of the arrangement. This left the actress angry.

She expressed her anger over the matter on social media.

In a recent Facebook post, Nusraat Faria made a special request to journalists, saying that when a producer, director or production house invites journalists to a shooting location during filming, they should first find out why they are being invited.

Nusraat Faria wrote, “Are you being invited to promote themselves and increase their popularity by using your cameras, boom microphones or journalistic identity? Or are you being brought there under the pretext of interviewing an artist?”

She further said that if journalists are told they will interview an artist, they should contact the artist before going to the shooting location to confirm whether the artist is aware of the matter. She said, “One very important thing to remember is whether the artist who is supposed to be interviewed has actually given consent for it.”

Nusraat also noted that artists remain committed to their work while filming. She said that giving interviews outside their work is a separate matter when they are shooting a movie or working on a specific project. This requires the artist’s consent and preparation.

Calling on journalists to be more cautious, Nusraat Faria said they should not assume that everything is true simply by listening to one side. She believes there may be many circumstances behind an incident that are not apparent from the outside.

Nusraat Faria wrote, “Sometimes, events behind the scenes are presented to you in such a way that the actual truth remains hidden.”
