King movie poster
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is synonymous with surprises and excitement. The release of a new poster for his highly anticipated film King, set to hit theaters on Christmas Eve, December 24, has created a major buzz online.
However, the caption has drawn even more attention than the poster itself. It contains a clever and artistic reference to a famous lyric from his iconic 1999 film Baadshah.
Speaking about his character at a fan meet in Mumbai, Shah Rukh himself revealed several intriguing details. He said his role in King is not that of an ordinary hero. Instead, he plays a dark, morally ambiguous and ruthless killer.
The superstar carefully selects major projects every one or two years to ensure audiences get to experience something new on screen.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, the big-budget action thriller features Shah Rukh alongside stars including Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji and Raghav Juyal.
With the film scheduled to release in theaters on December 24, 2026, it is already generating considerable excitement, with expectations of a major box office impact.
