They targeted the owner, I got caught in the middle: Salman Muktadir

Content creator Salman Muqtadir's studio has allegedly been attacked and vandalized after he refused to pay extortion. The incident took place at Newgreen Properties near ECB square in the capital.

Salman said, "They mainly demanded money from the building owner. They targeted the owner. I got caught in the middle. They probably didn't know this was my studio."

In a video message, Salman said the studio was attacked and looted around midnight on Saturday. Various equipment and furniture of the studio were damaged in the incident.

Salman claimed that the miscreants looted the studio's CCTV cameras, various equipment, and other items from the room. They also vandalized and ransacked various equipment inside the studio.

The officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Gias Uddin of Cantonment Police Station said that an office in the ECB area was attacked over a land-grabbing dispute. Upon receiving the news, police went to the scene and brought the situation under control.

He also said that two people have been detained from the scene. Legal proceedings are underway in connection with the incident.
