Kiara Advani Nears Rs 25 Billion Box Office Milestone

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani

Over the past decade, Kiara Advani has established herself as one of Bollywood’s most popular actresses. Alongside Hindi cinema, she has also built a distinct identity through her successful work in Telugu films. She is now on the verge of another major career milestone with the much-anticipated film Toxic, starring Yash.

The combined worldwide box office earnings of Kiara’s 13 released films currently stand at Rs 22.4611 billion. As a result, she needs only another Rs 2.5389 billion to enter the Rs 25 billion club. According to trade analysts, if Toxic performs as expected, Kiara will easily achieve the milestone.

Although she made her debut with Fugly in 2014, her career took a major turn with M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story. She later enjoyed consistent box office success with films such as Bharat Ane Nenu, Kabir Singh, Good Newwz, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and Satyaprem Ki Katha. Her highest-grossing film to date is War 2, which earned Rs 3.7126 billion worldwide.

All eyes are now on Toxic. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features Yash alongside Kiara. As it is Yash’s first release since K.G.F: Chapter 2, audience anticipation has reached a fever pitch. Discussions surrounding the film’s promotion and the song Tabahi have already gained significant traction on social media.

Not only at the box office, but Kiara has also reached a new height in terms of remuneration. According to various Indian media reports, she received Rs 150 million for starring in Toxic, the highest fee of her career. With this, the actress has further strengthened her position among Bollywood’s highest-paid leading ladies.
