Lawsuit filed against Tanjin Tisha over death threat allegations

A lawsuit has been filed against actress Tanjin Tisha in a Dhaka court on allegations of threatening to kill the plaintiff in a case filed over a 75,000-taka saree.
On Monday, fashion designer Sanaya Anam Wafikah Chowdhury filed the case in the court of Dhaka Executive Magistrate Muhammad Mahbub-ul-Alam. Later, Tanjin Tisha was ordered to appear in court and explain the matter.
This information was confirmed by the plaintiff's lawyer, Shubhra Sinha Roni.
The case alleges that Sanaya Anam Wafikah filed a case against Tanjin Tisha on November 27 last year on charges of fraudulance. After that, actress Tisha pressured her at various times to withdraw the case. On November 7 last year, she also called Sanaya Anam and threatened her over the matter.
The complaint states that Sanaya Anam's fraud case was ordered to be investigated by the PBI. However, the investigating officer submitted a biased report to the court. When a no-confidence petition was filed against it, the court on Sunday ordered the CID to conduct a further investigation into the case. Tisha became furious over this. She sent some people to the plaintiff's house in Pallabi and threatened her.
Lawyer Shubhra Sinha Roni said that after the threat, Sanaya Anam is suffering from extreme insecurity. She went to the police station to file a case. However, the police station authorities advised her to file the case in court.
