'I’ll get married when I feel ready,' says Kaushani

Tollywood actors Bonny Sengupta and Kaushani Mukherjee have been in a long-term relationship and have openly supported each other over the years. Although their relationship has grown stronger with time, Kaushani does not want to rush into marriage.
Fresh speculation about Kaushani’s wedding has recently surfaced, with reports suggesting that she may marry Bonny Sengupta by the end of this year. However, the actress has put those rumors to rest by making her plans for marriage clear.
While promoting her new film, “Bahurupi: The Golden Dacoit,” Kaushani spoke about marriage. She said that although she sees marriage as a natural progression of a relationship, she does not want to get married simply because of her age or the passage of time.
“Marriage is the natural progression of every relationship. But I’m very happy with where I am now. We are both very happy. I don’t want to get married just because of my biological clock. I’ll get married when I feel that I’m ready,” Kaushani said.
The actress also said that her father occasionally wants to discuss marriage with her. However, he does not bring up the subject too often because he is afraid she will scold him. Like other fathers, he worries about his daughter’s future, but he does not want to impose any decision against her wishes.
Bonny and Kaushani’s relationship began in 2015 while working together in Raj Chakraborty’s film “Parbona Ami Chhartey Toke.” After being paired in the film, they began a romantic relationship in real life. Although they have been together for many years, speculation about when they might get married surfaces from time to time.
Bonny had previously spoken about their marriage plans, saying that they did not want to rush into marriage because of their busy professional schedules. In an interview, he also expressed his desire to have a destination wedding in the winter.
Kaushani’s latest comments make it clear that she has not set a specific timeline for marriage. For now, the actress wants to prioritize her career and her own readiness. Fans will therefore have to wait a little longer to find out when the couple’s long-running relationship will culminate in marriage.
