Actor Shyamal Mawla, a very passionate Argentina supporter, has shared a light-hearted message on social media ahead of Argentina's upcoming World Cup semifinal against England, saying that scoring first against the South American team could prove to be a costly mistake.
In a post on his Facebook page, Mawla wrote: "Dear people of the world, if you want to beat Argentina, please don't dare scoring first. Every time Argentina concedes, they seem to become even more dangerous. In the end, you'll be the ones who lose."
Argentina and England are set to renew one of football's fiercest rivalries in the World Cup semifinals. The fixture has produced numerous memorable moments, controversial decisions, and dramatic encounters over the years.
The match comes shortly after the death of former Argentina captain Antonio Rattín, who passed away at the age of 89. His passing has added emotional significance to another chapter in the long-standing rivalry between the two nations.
The two sides last met in an international friendly match in 2005, when England had a 3-2 victory. Their most recent competitive meeting came at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Now, after nearly 24 years, Argentina and England are set to face each other again on football's biggest stage.
The highly anticipated clash has generated widespread discussion across social media, with celebrities from Bangladesh's entertainment industry also joining the debate.
