‘Law and Order Has Deteriorated Sharply’

People are saying that law and order has deteriorated sharply, and crime reports have exceeded all limits compared to the interim government period, said NCP South Region chief organizer Hasnat Abdullah.
On Tuesday at around 11:00 AM, the Member of Parliament for Comilla-4 held a discussion with local stakeholders on the widening of the Chandina–Debidwar highway. He later spoke to journalists.
He said, “Service-oriented institutions must belong to the people. There must be no middlemen between service receivers and service providers. We must work more actively to protect the rights of every citizen.”
He added that Bangladesh is a safe land for all opinions and all religions. He said that if proper security is ensured, the post-election concerns in India will not persist.
Debidwar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam chaired the meeting, where Executive Engineer of the Roads and Highways Department in Comilla Golam Mostafa presented the strategic aspects of the road project.
