Police seize 106 Yaba tablets, arrest constable in Natore

Police seized 106 pieces of Yaba tablets during an operation and arrested three individuals, including a police constable, in Lalpur, Natore on Wednesday.

Lalpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shafiqul Islam confirmed the matter. The arrested police officer is Al Amin, 23, a constable of the Rajshahi Range Reserve Force. The other two arrested individuals are Ohidul Mollah, 32 and Muktar Ali, 34. They were sent to jail.

OC Shafiqul said based on secret information, an operation was conducted at Ohidul’s house. Two motorcycles used for selling and transporting drugs, along with Tk 32,000, were seized during the raid. A case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act.
