Retired Major Gen. Golam Mohiuddin arrested in New Gini properties case

Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) has arrested Major General (retd.) Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury in a case filed over the attack and vandalism of New Gini Properties in the ECB area of the capital.
He was arrested at Segunbagicha today (Wednesday) afternoon by the Gulshan Division of DB.
Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Division of DMP, Akhtar Hossain, confirmed the matter.
Akhtar Hossain said that around 2:45 pm, a team of DB Gulshan Division arrested Golam Mohiuddin at Segunbagicha under Ramna police station in connection with the attack on New Gini Properties.
The DMP official further said that there is a case lodged against him with Cantonment police station. He is the fourth accused in the case.
