PM arrives in Saidpur for daylong tour across 3 divisions

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived at Saidpur Airport around 10 am on Tuesday. From there, he will travel by road to visit the mandaps of Durga Puja at the Radha Gobinda Temple in Rangpur city.
PM’s Press Secretary Saleh Shibly confirmed the matter. Earlier, at 9 am, he departed for Saidpur from Tejgaon Airport, Dhaka on a military aircraft.
He said, “The PM has departed for Rangpur. There, he will inspect the puja mandap at Radhagobinda Temple and exchange greetings with the devotees. After inspecting the puja mandaps in three metropolitan cities, the PM will return to Dhaka tonight.
“The policy of this government is religion belongs to individuals, but the right to security belongs to everyone. This time, the government has taken all measures to ensure the smooth completion of the Hindu community’s puja across the country. Allocations have been increased, holidays have been extended, and the government is providing all kinds of support to the puja mandaps.”
According to the PM’s itinerary, after inspecting the puja mandap at Radha Gobinda Temple following his arrival at Saidpur Airport at 10 am, he will depart from Saidpur Airport at 12:30 pm for Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi.
Afterward, at 1:15 pm, from Shah Makhdum Airport, he will visit the Dharmasabha Temple puja mandap in Rajshahi and take a transit break at Rajshahi Circuit House at 2:15 pm.
Later, at 3 pm, after attending a rally at Haji Muhammad Muhsin Government High School in Rajshahi, he will depart from Shah Makhdum Airport at 4:15 pm for Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram.
At 5:30 pm, from Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport, he will visit the JM Sen Hall Rahmatganj puja mandap.
After a transit break at Chattogram Circuit House at 6:45 pm, he will depart from Shah Amanat International Airport for Dhaka at 7:45 pm.
Later, Tarique is scheduled to land at Tejgaon Airport at 9:15 pm.
