Jaima Rahman in Batighar, which books does she buy?

Zaima Rahman, daughter of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, has visited popular Batighar Bookshop in the city and bought some books.
Zaima Rahman, the daughter of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, visited the chain bookstore Batighar in Dhaka’s Banglamotor neighborhood to purchase books. She arrived at the bookstore around 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, and spent about half an hour browsing the collection.
Dipankar Das, the proprietor of Batighar, told Agamir Somoy that she visited the shop just like any other ordinary reader. He confirmed her arrival at noon.
During her visit, some fellow readers took the opportunity to take photographs with her. The books Zaima purchased included works by a wide range of authors, from Kazi Nazrul Islam to Humayun Ahmed and Anisul Hoque.
Additionally, her selection included titles by Gabriel García Márquez, Sunil Gangopadhyay, Samaresh Majumdar, Begum Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain, and Nurul Kabir.
