Prime Minister visits Dulahazara Safari Park with his wife

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has visited the Dulahazara Safari Park near the beach town of Cox's Bazar. He made the visit Saturday afternoon. He was accompanied by his spouse, Dr. Zubaida Rahman.
Upon arrival, the Prime Minister planted a sapling of a Nagalingam tree in front of the main gate of the Safari Park. He later signed the visitors' book of the Safari Park. Dr. Zubaida Rahman also signed the visitors' book.
Earlier, the Prime Minister was welcomed at the Dulahazara Safari Park by the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Abdul Awal Mintoo, and the State Minister, Shaikh Faridul Islam.
The Prime Minister had arrived in the tourist city of Cox's Bazar on a one-day visit in the morning. From Cox's Bazar Airport, he drove himself to the site of a canal excavation programme. He gave the passenger seat to Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed.
Also in the car were the Prime Minister's spouse, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, and Salahuddin Ahmed's wife, Hasina Ahmed. From there, Prime Minister Tarek Rahman once again drove himself to the Dulahazara Safari Park.
Throughout the journey, thousands of local residents and party activists and supporters thronged the roads, showering the Prime Minister with flower petals and waving their hands in a warm welcome.
