BGB foils BSF’s push-in attempt in Jhenaidah

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) foiled an attempt by India’s Border Security Force (BSF) to push six individuals into Bangladesh through Moheshpur border in Jhenaidah.
BGB 58 Assistant Director Major Munshi Imdadur Rahman confirmed the matter around 6 am on Saturday. BGB patrol team immediately sent them back inside India.
Major Munshi said an attempt was made to push two women and four men through the gate of the BSF’s Singamora camp in the Samanta area of the Maheshpur border. They took prompt action, foiling the push-in attempt and sending them back inside India.
