Finance minister distributes relief to 1,00,000 flood victims

Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said floods affected around 7,00,000 people in Chattogram.
He made these remarks while distributing relief to flood victims in Patenga on Friday morning. Relief has already been distributed among 1,00,000 people. Alongside this, rehabilitation work for the victims has also commenced.
Khosru added, “Rice, cooked food, and dry food are being distributed among the flood-affected people. Rehabilitation activities have started; government assistance will continue until they are fully completed.”
He said many roads have been damaged due to the floods and instructions for their rapid repair have already been issued, and work has begun on some roads.
Following the relief distribution, Khosru departed from Patenga for Chandanaish. He is scheduled to distribute relief among flood victims in Satkania, Lohagara, and Banshkhali, as well as various other areas of Chattogram.
