Central insurance profit rises 23% in nine months

The earnings per share (EPS) of listed Central Insurance Company Limited rose 23% in the first nine months of the current 2026 financial year. The company’s EPS also increased 46% in the third quarter.
The information was disclosed by the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
The company’s EPS stood at Tk 1.79 in the nine months from January to September of the current financial year. It was Tk 1.45 during the same period a year earlier. As a result, EPS increased by 34 paisa or 23% year on year.
Meanwhile, the company’s EPS stood at Tk 0.76 in the third quarter from July to September. The figure was Tk 0.52 during the same period a year earlier. Therefore, third quarter EPS increased by 24 paisa or 46% year on year.
This means the company continued to see growth in earnings both over the nine-month period and in the latest quarter. The third quarter EPS growth rate was also higher than the growth recorded over the nine-month period.
As of September 30, this year, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 51.43.
