Bangladesh Bank Issues Three Denominations' New Notes

Bangladesh Bank has released new 1000, 500, and 10 Taka denomination banknotes into the market, featuring designs of Bangladesh's historic and archaeological architecture.
Starting today, Monday (18 May), the issuance of these notes, bearing the signature of the new Governor Md. Mostakur Rahman, has commenced from the central bank's Motijheel office. The notes will gradually be issued from other branches as well, Bangladesh Bank confirmed in a press release.
According to the release, the color, size, design, and security features of the new notes will remain unchanged. Additionally, all currently circulating paper notes and metallic coins will remain valid and in legal tender.
