Biman Bangladesh Airlines has again suspended flights to Dammam just two days after resuming operations on the route. The airline announced the decision in a statement on Friday.
Biman said it had suspended all flights from Dhaka to Dammam scheduled for October 23, 24 and 25 to ensure passenger safety following an attack at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on the night of October 21.
In addition, considering the ongoing airstrike situation, the airline has decided to suspend all flights from Dhaka to Riyadh until October 31 in the interest of passenger safety.
The statement said further decisions regarding the suspended flights and revised schedules would be announced in due course.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines said its flights from Dhaka to Jeddah and Madinah would continue to operate according to their previously scheduled timetables.
In case of emergencies, passengers traveling to Dammam and Riyadh may travel to Saudi Arabia or return to Bangladesh via Jeddah and Madinah international airports, subject to seat availability.
Passengers have also been requested to contact their nearest Biman Bangladesh Airlines sales center for necessary information regarding tickets and travel.
