Law Minister: Next Parliamentary Election Under Caretaker Government

Law Minister Md. Asaduzzaman has said that the next national parliamentary election will be held under a caretaker government.
Asaduzzaman shared this information during an opinion session at his office in the Secretariat today, Thursday, regarding the Appellate Division upholding the High Court's verdict on the 15th Amendment.
Earlier in the day, the court dismissed the appeal filed against the High Court's verdict concerning the 15th Amendment to the Constitution, which had originally abolished the caretaker government system alongside making several other changes.
Following this, the Law Minister shared his reaction at the Secretariat. A journalist inquired whether the next national parliamentary election would be held under a caretaker government.
In response, the Law Minister said, "InshaAllah. This is our political commitment. The caretaker government is the fruit of the BNP's movement."
