The Indian High Commission has simplified the visa application process for Bangladeshi citizens. As part of the initiative, the structure of the visa undertaking form has been simplified. This will allow applicants to fill out the required documents more easily on their own and reduce their dependence on agents.
In a statement on Friday, the Indian High Commission in Dhaka said the revised and simplified form had been uploaded to the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) website about three weeks ago.
The new form will help applicants easily understand and provide the required information.
In addition, a uniform standardized format will be followed for visa applications of all categories. This will ensure consistency in the application submission process.
The initiative by the High Commission aims to make the visa application process simpler, more convenient and applicant-friendly.
However, the initiative to simplify the form does not introduce any new eligibility requirements for obtaining a visa.
In other words, there has been no change to the existing visa eligibility criteria.
The changes have been introduced as part of the Indian High Commission’s ongoing efforts to simplify visa-related procedures and reduce the difficulties faced by Bangladeshi applicants.
