Cases filed against 8 including 2 former VCs over recruitment corruption

The Professor Khondoker Nasiruddin and Professor Dr. Khairul Alam Khan of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (currently Gopalganj Science and Technology University), over alleged recruitment corruption.
The information was disclosed this afternoon during a press briefing at the ACC headquarters in Segunbagicha, Dhaka.
Meanwhile, six people have been shown arrested in connection with the embezzlement of nearly Tk 90 million from customer accounts at the Sreenagar branch of Agrani Bank in Munshiganj. An ACC investigation uncovered allegations of misappropriating funds from 91 customers, leading to the arrest of six individuals, including suspended some officials from the branch.
